This is the break out box that we normally use on our WRX VB Flex Fuel kits. What the combination of these cables are to break out the canbus signals needed for whatever canbus devices to have access to the main powertrain network. Internally this has polyfuse for the switched and constant power outputs. Their is a maximum draw current for constant and switched is 1A. It can be used for low power device, or as a switching signal to turn on a device of higher power.
This will have upto 4 JST-XA 5 pin connector that carry: const power, switch power, CAN High , CAN Low, and GND.
